Governing Documents
The Amended and Restated Declarations are the BASIC governing document. The BYLAWS are to enhance and clarify , and in some cases to expand rules, but in no case can they contradict the DECLARATIONS. The Rules & Regulations are a more common language set of rules to clarify, but, again, they cannot contradict the Bylaws or the Declarations.
References to 2014 - In 2014 after a lawsuit involving Brookside Village, it was necessary to amend and restate the Bylaws and the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions and the Rules and Regulations for Brookside Village. This is why the title of the CCRs reflects the year 2014 in the title. 2014 is the year the changes were made and are an integral part of the official title. These documents are all current.
